A Dhaka court has granted a 3-day remand for Kamal Ahmed Majumdar, former Minister of State for Industries and former Member of Parliament (MP) of Dhaka-15 Constituency, in the murder case filed at the capital's Kafrul Police Station in connection with the death of a student named Ikramul Haque during the anti-discrimination student movement.

Kamal Ahmed Majumder, Ex-State Minister for Industries and chairman of Mohona TV, has been arrested by the police. Two murder cases were filed against him at Kafrul police station.
